The one where we are ALMOST a family of 4....

Well, only a few more days of being a family of 3! It blows my mind that in a few more days, a new bambino will be in our family. I feel like I'm carrying twins at this point because I'm so uncomfortable and big, but reality just doesn't settle in, until your holding her. Both Josh and I are so anxious to meet her. It's almost like why do we have to wait until Friday? We are ready, so can we bump her up in the schedule???? BUT it gives us a few more days to spoil Cooper. I keep telling him how big brothers are the best, how much I will need his help and how much I love him. I tell him there are plenty of hugs and kisses for everyone, especially for big brothers.... then he leans over and gives me a big hug with a pat on my back and a kiss right smack on the lips. It's the sweetest. His world is about to change and I want him to think its for the best. Because it is, he just won't understand quiet yet.

Here's a sneak peak of the nursery.... still a work in progress!

The one with the pancakes...

Happy Friday everyone! Since I only have 2 more weeks, with just me and my main squeeze, Cooper, I thought we would make pancakes this morning. What kid doesn't love to help mommy cook? That's been Cooper's helping hand these past few weeks. He loves to pour things in pots, put food in the microwave, start the kitchen timers and sit on the counter while I make his food... So I thought he'd LOVE to help make pancakes and he did. And you know, it really wasn't messy, like I thought. Well I think the "just add water" factor to the pre-made batter helped with that.... no eggs, no milk, no oil... simple enough for a toddler. We had a great time and I had my camera out and charged (ready for baby Addison) so I was able to catch it all in pictures!! Enjoy

mommy I'm ready

The one with the month of Addison...

Happy February everyone- Addison's month, less than 3 weeks she will be here. I feel good other than being LARGE and exhausted. But overall, no real signs of labor. But I guess I didn't have that with Cooper either.... So keep us in your prayers that we make it to the 22nd of this month! We aren't quiet ready for her to make her grand entrance into this world... but I've made a lot of progress. Clothes and Blankets are washed, diapers and wipes purchased, walls painted purple and car seats clean. I know your thinking WHAT else is there? But I've got to add those last touches to the walls, like hang pictures and wall art, I've got to dust off the pack-n-play, wash the bottles.... there just seems like so much. And as far as breast feeding, that will be a game time decision! Not sure if I am willing to make that commitment. While I know its wonderful bonding time and great for the baby, I can't leave my main squeeze Cooper hanging. I don't want all these changes to happen where he isn't invovled. And from what I can tell with him being around other babies, he likes to help feed (and then steal their toys later!) Overall, I think he will be a great big brother. He has been helping Josh and I through the nesting phase. I'm loving it. It's something I didn't get to do with him, so to me this is fun! I love organizing and decorating anyway! I'll keep you posted on what the room looks like. I'll probably have a few pictures by next week. But until then, I'll leave you with these...
